We make a lot of beds on a daily bases. This prompted me to make this blog.

Here’s a lot of questions that always goes through my head as we are making up these beds….

Should pillows be washed?

Pillows should be washed every 3-6 months. They should be replaced every 1-3 years. You can tell when  a pillow needs to be replaced by, folding the pillow in half and if it springs back, it doesn’t need to be replaced.

What happens if you don’t wash a pillow?

Pillows covered with pillowcases  ( only) and without pillow protectors can still get a build up of oil, dead skin and bacteria.

Why do pillows turn yellow?

Couple reasons why…. sweat, lotions, oils or wet hair.

Can a pillow make you sick?

Pillows can become a breeding ground for dust mites, allergens bacteria and dead skin. Using a pillow protector helps.
