Return Air Vent

Ceiling Vent

This is a return air vent. We always vacuum and dust these. We will wash them if necessary. The newer thermostats now messages the home owner that it is time to replace the filter. All final cleanings on a  Post Construction job we remove the dusty filters and replace it with a new one  if provided.

How often should these be replace?

If is suggested that the filters be replace every 90 days or every 3 months. However if you have fur babies they may have to be replaced more often.

How to know if you are putting the filter in the right way?

When installing a new filter make sure the arrow is point inwards. It’s not a bad idea to put the date on it when you installed it just in case you don’t have a new thermostat that reminds you to change it.
